The brutal summer has finally come and gone, leaving behind many empty river beds and dry ponds. Palmyra is thirsting for life and wit Fall comes no relief. Though the intense heat has passed, it seems that Winter's touch is coming early, the nights are unbearably cold dipping below unnatural temperatures for the time of year and during the day it is not much better. Many plants that should be growing back now that Summer has passed are not coming back until Spring it seems, the world is in distress, Mother Nature has once again proved her prowess over the planet. Everyone can only hope that Winter is short and the rebirth of Spring comes soon.
