GIZMO ARTURA.
The black beasts tail lashed at his hindquarters, frustration welling in him. It was too cold still, he needed heat to keep his flame burning or else he would die. The stud began moving his way farther into the desert, seeking the heat that would billow upon his ebony frame once the sun rose. Sand clung to his legs, catching in the thin strands of hair around his hooves as he paused, twisting his head around and breathing a light breath of fire over his black body to warm it a little. The sun was starting to rise, and the stallion lay where he was, curling up in the sand with his tail curled over his muzzle. The sand would quickly bake him once it captured the heat, and he'd be just fine once that happened.

Now ... what was going on with this place? A war? Pathetic excuse to be so down. Wars are good, are they not? They prove your strength as a country, a nation, or a world. Now, if you lose the war that shows you were not worthy to be either of those three. From what I have noticed from the few days I have been here, this place deserves to be what it is. Whether it is a good thing or a bad thing I do not know yet. I will find out soon, I assume.
There were a few lush places, and then there was the desert. Dried out and bare, it shows no life anymore. Although there are signs that it once was a place to enjoy years ago. Skeletons dried out and painted on the ground are white now and flat.
snap.
Oops, I stepped on one. I noticed it was a fish. Hm, this must have been a lake. After looking over the entire desert I can see that it could have been a lake. It looks like someone took a straw to the water and sucked it all up. Tastey, no?
And there I noticed a dark figure laying in the sand, and then a flash of light coming from him. For a moment I swore it was fire, but it couldn't be. I guess we'll see.
I crept up to him, white eyes going over his frame. He was young, I could tell. I was such a cougar, was I not?
A sly grin planted on my mouth as I popped up next to him, he did not see me coming did he?
"For a moment there, I thought I saw you breath fire."

GIZMO ARTURA.
The male lifted his head to look at the female, his furless tail slipping off his snout as he grinned at her like he'd just seen tasty prey. The draft stallion lifted himself quickly as sand fell form him, his markings glowing red as he breathed a short puff of fire - smoke curling from his nostrils in twin colomns. "You didn't just think it, you did see me breathe fire." His head twisted as he breathed the flames over himself once more, trying to warm himself from the cold grasps of the night.
He turned then, his icy eyes sweeping over the female curiously. Who was this mare who had wandered into the desert away from other herds, all alone? The desert was a harsh place, not for those weak of heart. The tip of his tail twitching behind him, he cocked his head to the side. "Names Gizmo. Gizmo Artura. What're you doing out here in the desert at the asscrack of dawn?"
